He said – Mother kept crying and apologizing to my father in her last days. He further said – The conditions that were set between my father and mother for their marriage ruined the lives of both of them.
Tajdar Amrohi told that Meena Kumari loved my father Kamal Amrohi very much. One day she ran away from her home for her father. My father called Qazi and got my younger mother married the same day. He told – Father had put conditions before the younger mother regarding the change in the lifestyle of Meena Kumari before marriage. At that time Meena Kumari had accepted the conditions. But with time she started suffocating under the burden of these conditions.
